My Vow
Photography
2026
This is the story of Olya, who came to us with a simple request: I have a wedding dress from my previous marriage that I never got to wear. I want to finally close that chapter.” As we started developing the concept, we saw something much deeper in the story of that dress — feminine strength and self-love. Although her first marriage did not have a happy ending, Olya found happiness in choosing herself. The unworn dress became a symbol of the vow she made to herself: to protect herself, accept herself, love herself, and stand by herself. At the beginning, all we had was the dress and a strong desire to create something more than beautiful photographs. We wanted to place Olya herself at the heart of the story. Every detail was chosen to reflect who she is: an extravagant self-bride bouquet, bold heels paired with unexpected socks. Each element speaks of her vibrant personality, her constant desire to experiment, and her commitment to the promise of remaining true to herself, even when sharing life with someone else. The crystals on her body symbolize the many facets of her personality — each one catching and reflecting the light in its own unique way, depending on what you see. We transformed the traditional idea of marriage, where two people make vows to one another dressed in matching tones, into a bold celebration of a promise made to oneself: a vow to always choose yourself.
